What’s the difference between Free and Pro?
Free gives you 50 active tasks, full CLI, and ICS export. Pro removes all limits and adds live calendar subscriptions, cloud sync, web dashboard, and AI planning (coming soon).
Why only 50 tasks in free tier?
It encourages regular completion and focus. Completed tasks don’t count. Most productive developers maintain 20-30 active tasks.
Will the price increase after beta?
Regular price will be $12/month. Beta testers keep $6/month forever as our thanks for early support.
What calendar apps are supported?
Universal support! Live calendar subscriptions work with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, and any RFC 5545 compliant calendar app. Plus ICS export for manual import.
Can I use it for real work?
Absolutely! Tycana is stable for daily use. Your tasks stay in local YAML files so you’re never locked in.
